To become a member of the over 75 year old DMCC, you need to pay a yearly membership fee (see membership link), this entitles you to be involved in social functions, trail rides, and ride on the Wonthaggi MX track on practice days and club race days. You still need to hold an MV recreational license thou. The club is an official MA affiliated club, therefore you can get your MA license through the club.
The club runs allocated practice on average every month. The club caters for both juniors and seniors. The Wonthaggi complex also caters for the beginner rider that is suited to pee wee and junior trail type bikes, if you have kids it is a good place for them to learn. The DMCC also has a large Enduro/Trail based membership which run Cross-Country, Sprint and Enduro events each year in conjunction with the Victoria series. In addition, the DMCC Club Championship series caters for Dirt-track, Sprint, Cross-Country and often MX for all levels of rider. There are trial rides arranged a least once per month which are staged in the Gippsland and regional Alpine country. |
