BY ENTERING THIS MEETING ALL PARTIES AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES, REGULATIONS, BY-LAWS AND INSTRUCTIONS.
Before you can enter you must have joined or renewed your Club membership via ridernet
1. ANNOUNCEMENT
The DMCC hereinafter called the PROMOTER, will conduct ORCC Round 1 at Hallston on Sunday 15th March 2026. The event is planned to be Sprint format
2. JURISDICTION
The abovementioned meeting has been authorised by Motorcycling Victoria (MV) and will be held in accordance with the General Competition Rules (GCR’s) of Motorcycling Australia (MA), the by-laws of MV, these Supplementary Regulations, any final instructions and instructions issued by the stewards of the meeting.
3. ENTRIES
Entries will be accepted forthwith from current MA Senior National (SNA) and MA Junior National (JNA) competition license holders.
$65 for Seniors and $55 for Juniors.

One event non-competition license is purchased on entry

Transponder Hire $30
Please note we have a limited number of hire transponders, first in best dressed.
In your entry please make sure you click on the “Add” box to add the transponder to your entry. Recreational classes do not need a transponder.

Entries open 1st March 6am
Entries will close on Wednesday 11th March at 9pm. Late entries will close 6pm Friday 13th March unless the club decide to close early due to high number of entrants.
Our permit only allows for a maximum of 150 entries
ENTRIES WILL NOT BE TAKEN ON THE DAY. ALL entries must be PREPAID online in Ridernet.
Membership Fees must be paid, and membership updated in Ridernet prior to entry.
4. CLASSES:
Classes are as per below with Pro being VORC Pro or higher ranked Expert, A grade being Expert, B grade being fastest clubman, C grade being fast clubman and D grade being lower ranked clubman and trail riders. There are no capacity classes.
Junior classes cater for 50cc upwards with 125/150/200 2S and 250 4S combined.
All class ages need to be at that age before the 1st of January of the current year.

5. MEDICAL SERVICES
External medical provider will be in attendance from 30 minutes before and after racing.
Club Level 2 First Aider’s will be in attendance for the entirety of the event.
6. RIDERS BRIEFING
Attendance at the Riders Briefing is compulsory.
7. MACHINE EXAMINATION/SCRUTINNEERING
Self-Scrutineering will be used, please print, and have the filled in form ready PRIOR to arrival at the event to expediate sign in process.
All machines must comply with the 2026 GCR’s
Every rider (junior and senior) must be wearing "Type C" body armour, rigid/hard plastic plates on both the chest and back.
Helmet must comply with MA bulletin #2072. MOMs 17.1.2

Both helmet and body armour must be presented to the scrutineer before sign-on for inspection and sign-off. Self-Scrutineering form will have a section for sign-off.
No rider shall have any camera mounted (on their person or motorcycle) while riding.
Go-Pro’s or brackets on helmets are not allowed as per MOMs 10.10.3
Random bikes will be chosen and scrutineered.
Random checks will be focusing on safety features such as broken levers, brakes at lever/pedal, throttle return and importantly as per MOMs 10.20.6 exposed handlebar ends must be plugged with a solid material or rubber cover and cross bar pads must be fitted. Any non-compliance for any of these means no riding unless rectified and represented to scrutineering. If your bike is not fitted with the required safety features, it is not safe to ride for you or others and rules dictate you are not able to ride.
In line with current race sound limits (112dBA or less at 2m at full revs per MOMS 17.3). If you have an older model 2 stroke, if you repack the muffler, it will be fine, but if you have an older model 4 stroke with original muffler it will be too loud. Any bike found on the day to be too noisy may not race. Bikes will be checked on the starting line.

8. CAMPING

9. CODE OF CONDUCT
All competitors, officials and parents are reminded of the Motorcycling Australia By-Law – CODE OF CONDUCT (as stipulated in the GCR’s) which is a guide to appropriate behaviour at all motorcycle race meetings. This CODE OF CONDUCT applies to this meeting and will be enforced. A reminder to members and as per MOM’s there is no smoking or alcohol at the venue and no pets are allowed at the event.

11. VENUE DESCRIPTION
Track length: 12-15 minutes
Track description: Single track bush with small areas of grass track
PW track available if we get enough parents to help setup on Saturday
Per normal ORCC round there will be a BBQ at completion of racing and removal of track markings.
All riders are on de-arrowing and de-bunting duty once racing is completed for the day.
12. MEDIA
All photographers wishing to be on the track must :-
- A current media license
- Have their own official media vest (tabard)
- Must present themselves to sign-on before riders briefing
- Must attend riders briefing

RULES:
A. Enviromats are compulsory when replenishing fluids in your bike. If you don’t have an enviromat purchase one from www.nisbets.com.au Search for “Jantex Entrance Mat Large”
B. Each pit tent/group must supply their own (2kg) chemical fire extinguisher, the normal small type you might carry in your car, boat, caravan etc.
C. All spectators must keep at least 5m of the edge of the track at all times as per MA Track Standards 4.12 and 4.13
GENERAL
1. All Riders are on post-race de-arrowing and bunting duty. If anyone in these classes rides and doesn’t help post-race, their results will be excluded unless determined otherwise by C of C.
2. Event Scoring: Event timing/scoring will be by transponder; the club can provide transponders to hire for $30 per transponder for the day to cover the costs to the club for hiring the box of transponders.
3. There will be a BBQ after racing for all riders, and a gold coin donation for parents/guardians/friends etc.
4. Sound: Sound emissions must comply with rules as stated in the 2026 Manual of Motorcycle Sport and these supp regs.
5. Riding of Motorcycles: The riding of any competing motorcycles in the pits or car park or camping area is not permitted. Infringing riders will be brought before the stewards of the meeting. Any offender may be fined $50.00, which must be paid before any further participation is permitted. No pit bikes or non - competing motorcycles are permitted to be ridden at any time at the venue. No rider is permitted on a motorcycle not wearing a helmet while the motorcycle is in motion, engine running or not.
6. No Hassle Policy: Any rider, entrant or person associated with a rider or entrant shall conduct themselves in an orderly manner in any dealings whatsoever, with any official of the meeting. A rider shall be responsible for his/her own conduct and that of any person with whom he/she is associated who abuses or threatens in any manner, either verbally or physically, any official. Penalties, which may be imposed by the stewards for breach, include reprimand or warning. Minimum $50.00 fine or exclusion from the meeting.
7. Abandonment: In the event of the meeting being abandoned due to circumstances beyond the control of the promoters before racing commences, entry fees will be returned, less a fee per entry to cover administration costs. Once the competition has commenced only the stewards of the meeting have the authority to abandon the meeting and their decision shall be final. In such cases the stewards will rule on the results according to the circumstances.
8. Bicycles: Bicycles are not permitted in the pits or on the racing circuit. No Pit Bikes will be allowed anywhere at this complex.
9. Animals: Are not permitted into the grounds. Assistance dogs are permitted.
10. Motorcycles: Are to be always kept in the pit area when not being used for competition. Unless permission to remove the motorcycle has been granted by the stewards of the meeting. Any motorcycle removed from the pit area without permission of the stewards, will be deemed to have withdrawn from the competition.
11. Reservations: The Stewards of the meeting reserve the right to alter, postpone or cancel all or part of the events program.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL RIDERS/ENTRANTS/PARENTS/GUARDIANS: CAPITAL BENEFITS INSURANCE IS APPLICABLE TO ALL RIDERS WITH A CURRENT LICENCE.
It is conditional upon acceptance of this entry that it is fully understood by the rider/entrant/parent/guardian to arrange personal injury and ambulance transportation insurance cover in case you should require the same during the running of this competition.

ENTRIES
You must update your bike you are riding this year in the Bike section of your Ridernet profile. Please make sure the VIN and Engine numbers are correct.
You must update your transponder in the transponder section of your Ridernet profile. If you don't do this, it makes timing you very hard. You do not need to do this if hiring a transponder.
