VIPER MEETING 28 th August, Wonthaggi
Right folks, as you all know we've had some pretty big gigs down at Wonthaggi lately  but, my friends, the Major Event is yet to be run. Sunday August 28 is the day marked  down for the Dandenong Motorcycle Clubs instalment of the mighty VIPER series for  2005. For the uninitiated VIPER stands for "Victorian Pre 80 & Evolution motocross Register". It's a motocross series dedicated to bikes built in that revolutionary era between 1975-1984. Most of the riders who compete in the events, raced during this era.
A lot of the guys are new to MX and have an opportunity to participate in a sport they were unable to previously. VIPER also attracts a fair few gun A graders as well!
Of course "massive" events like this don't just appear out of thin air. A lot of planning and work goes on behind the scenes so everyone can enjoy their day at the races.
(here comes the grovelling bit) I'd like to ask every regular VIPER competitor to supply a track worker for race day at Wonthaggi. This is your way of contributing to our club and your VIPER series. Ask your friends or family to come along and help YOU! I am planning on enough people to assist so they are only required to help out for half the day.
We also need a senior club member to Co-ordinate these workers(a pretty cruisey job).
Also a few volunteers are required to operate the start gate.  Please give me a call on 0412 334408 if you can help out!

Chris (getting slower) Cormack
We also will require club members to help at our round of the Gippsland Centre Meeting 24/25 th September and as we are also planning the 2 nd round of our Club Meeting in November if you attend either of these meetings and help out at least half of either day 28 th August or 24/25 th September
( non competitors only) you will avoid corner duty on our club day .You must register for these duties.
