All of the off road events are held on private property so you can race any bike, even the old CR500’s at the flat track. Further dates will be set once the Victorian and National calendars have been set.

DANDENONG MOTOR CYCLE CLUB was established 75 Years ago.

We will try and get some history from the archives, who, why, and when the club was first started.

Junior Off-Road Club Champs
In 2006 the club is looking to increase the junior club off road series, covering all disciples from Flat track, Hare & Hound, Enduro and MX catering for all different rider abilities and motorbike capacities ranging from PW50's to CRF50's, JR80's to CR85's to CRF150's.

Junior Club Champ days are designed to introduce younger riders and their parents to entry level racing at a club level, and to familiarise them with the general running of these types of events should they in the future look to pursue it at either a state or national level.

These days are predominantly designed as FUN days for both kids and parents to get out and enjoy riding.

The events are held on private properties enabling the kids to experience different venues along with different terrains.

Parents are reminded that your kids are welcome to come and ride the tracks on these days without having to compete.

All junior riders who complete the full series will receive a finisher’s trophy acknowledging their commitment to the series.

Any parents or riders who have any enquiries or ideas on the 2006 series please contact Darren Pay on 0409 020 116 or email darren@a1windsreens.com.au

Junior Development Program
In 2006 we are looking to introduce a junior of road development program that will throughout the year, do both enduro and MX schooling.
The program will be designed to help kids better understand their bike and controls to hopefully make riding a safer and more fun past time.

We will arrange throughout the course of the year to have Special guest riders to school juniors at both Wonthaggi track to help MX skills as well as enduro riding at Erica to bring along their off road enduro skills forward.

Along with this we will be looking to arrange information nights and days that will aid in bringing both suspension as well as race tuning technicians to the club and events to talk with parents about correct set-up and maintenance to ensure maximum safety for your kids.

If you have any enquires and or ideas regarding this please contact Steve Packer on either 0422 971 355 or email steve@taylormotorcycles.com.au and he will be able to assist you.

The club would like to thank all members & non-members that help to run this event over two days.

Over 125 bikes enter this event from around Australia, on Saturday Practice up to race 20 & Sunday race 21 to 50

Weather for Wonthaggi was unusually hot for this meeting, lunch breaks even though not planned for were allowed to give the club members a well-earned rest as they either watered or flag marshalled all day, both days. Not only did Blake Hore flag marshal he raced a Quad bike also for the first time, he finished 5th   (expert class) in the event not bad for his first attempt at Quad racing.
